Extrussion of aluminium profiles

The process of extrusion(pressing) is the transformation of aluminium logs (raw materials) into aluminium profiles of the desired shape and mechanical characteristics in accordance with international standards in this field. The extrusion process involves pressing various alloys of aluminium logs.

The extrusion process involves pressing various alloys of aluminum logs.

Extrusion process

  • Step 1

Aluminium log (raw material) is heated to a temperature of 480-500°C (depending on the alloy)

  • Step 2

Along with the log, the pressing tool (mold for the desired profil) is heated.

  • 3

    Step 3

Cutting the log to the optimal lenghth and extruding the log through the tool.

  • 4

    Step 4

Mechanical stretching of the obtained profiles on the tables (table length 40 m), cutting of the profiles to the required dimension.

  • Step 5

The last step. Heat treatment of profiles (aging of profiles) to achive the required mechanical characteristics.

By purchasing tools, the tool becomes protected. The customer becomes the owner of the tool and only he can produce profiles on that tool.
